Sofea & her rides

|
When we have kids, sometimes we have to bear all their whimsical and silly requests and not to mention all those cries when we refuse the things that they wanted most.
I think we are one of those parents that find it hard to say no to a cute and adorable kid.
Hence all the pictures of sofea in all these rides....

Both my hubby, Jijoe and me loves cats. So we were quite worried if Sofea would develop any kind allergic reaction by having cats around, so we caged them. Coincidently my cats gave birth to a litter of kittens during my confinement. Some we gave away, but kept only those that are attached to us.
Surprisingly, from an early age, since sofea started crawling, both she and the kittens get along well and she didnt show any allergic reaction to it. She even got her favourite, Rocco.
So here are some pics of her with her cats!

We r back in T'ganu for Raya Haji and my niece's Melissa Edora engagement ceremony. Next year after she got married and have a baby i'll be a grandma and sofea will be an aunt!!
Here are pics during the preparations, hantaran and the ceremony itself. Quite grand, considering she's the eldest daughter and first grand daughter.
Beautiful combination of yellow, brown and gold.
Sofea had a blast too!

Last weekend was hectic with open houses and birthday parties made worst with the rain and massive traffic jam.
We were at the Curve looking for a birthday gift before going for an open hse at Kota Damansara. On the way back home we stop over to visit my good fren Lyn who is 6 months pregnant with her 2nd baby. These pics were taken when her son, Luqman Hakim (2yrs + ) took sofea for a ride on his motorbike. The two hit it off and played happily together.

Last Sunday, my old uni friend Intan celebrated her son's Raja Omar Ryyan's 1st Birthday. We were there with Sofea celebrating his birthday. But as usual, the person who had the most fun is SOFEA. She gleefully joined a group of older kids sing-a-long-action to the song "If you're happy and you know it". These pics were taken while she was clapping along to the song and enjoying herself at the party!!

Believe it or not, we forgot to take any family pictures during raya in Terengganu! We were so busy going around and visiting relatives that we totally forgot to take any pictures for the 6 days were in Terengganu! Such a waste coz we were all colour co-ordinated in our baju kurung n baju melayu.
Anyway these are pics when we went beraya at my aunt's hse (sofea calls her wan jang)

AISHA SOFEA'S FIRST BIRTHDAY

We can only plan but Allah determines our future.
After so much excitement and planning for Sofea's first birthday, it was canceled at the last minute coz my beloved Mak Teh passed away on the 18th August 2006 after the Friday prayers.
We did a small celebration by having lunch at Victoria Station Ampang with my parents and siblings. This is the only pic that I have of Sofea on this historical day.
Happy 1st Birthday Sofea!! 19th August 2006!! You've grown up so fast. Mama & Papa LOVE you so MUCH

Splish Splash Sofea's 11th Month Birthday Bash

TodayAisha Sofea's is 11th month old. We celebrated by taking her swimming at the Gurney Heights pool. As a treat, my bro's gf, a 2nd yr Photography student in Uitm took loads of pics at the pool.
Sofea loves to to paddle around in her floaties, she's even more excited when i take her off the floaties and float her around. She would naturally paddle and even do the backstroke!
The funny thing is, she can paddle in her floaties alone around the pool without my help! Berlagak nak besar konon.

My cousin, Sheikh Faleigh, got married to an indian convert, Ranuka Shanmugam Abdullah last month and on the 7th May was their wedding reception at Pan Pacific Hotel, KL. The theme was BOLLYWOOD!!!

Emi's Engagement Ceremony - Terengganu
|
|
My sister-in-law, Emi got engage today to Lan. It was a very ceremonious affair. Lan, her fiance is from Temerloh (my hometown!) and his family came in 15 cars. So its was quite a big event!
The girl's gifts are in pink and the guy's are in maroon....we were all in pink as well, including sofea!!
Since it was in Terengganu, we took AirAsia flight, so it was the first time Sofea's on the plane!! She was a bit cranky though, but it was because she was sleepy....
